    Jamaican Chief Justice slams PSOJ’s holiday proposal – Caribbean Life

    The Private Organization of Jamaica (PSOJ) lately introduced a proposal to the Ministry of Tradition, Leisure, Gender, and Sports activities arguing that there be a merging of two important holidays, the celebrations of Independence Day and the celebration of  Emancipation Day, permitting this to turn out to be a single prolonged weekend vacation.
