    Guyana hosts CPL 2025 Final, Barbados gets 2026 – Caribbean Life

    The Republic Financial institution Caribbean Premier League (CPL) playoffs and finals might be hosted in Guyana in 2025 and Barbados in 2026.

    CPL has agreed to carry the finals in Guyana in 2025. This would be the fourth straight 12 months the playoffs and remaining might be staged in Guyana.

    For the primary time in 2026, the CPL finals will be held on the iconic Kensington Oval in Barbados.

    The announcement was made in the course of the break of the qualifier two between Guyana Amazon Warriors and Barbados Royals on the Guyana Nationwide Stadium on Oct. 4.

    President of Guyana Irfaan E. Ali stated, “I need to take this chance to want Guyana Amazon Warriors all success on behalf of all Guyanese as we attempt to make it two (titles) in a row. To all the opposite groups, we want you effectively as we play collectively in unity. I am additionally very delighted to announce that Guyana might be internet hosting CPL 2025 finals.”

    Prime Minister of Barbados Mia Mottley stated, “I am so comfortable to say that the CPL finals 2026 might be in Bridgetown at Kensington Oval. As you put together for the lengthy march to Bridgetown, let’s hope my personal workforce, Barbados Royals, can take it to the finals this 12 months.     Nonetheless, Mottley’s hope of seeing Royals within the 2024 finals didn’t materialize as Amazon Warriors received qualifier two to advance to the ultimate on Oct. 6.

    CPLS CEO Pete Russell was extremely happy that the venues for the following two finals have been confirmed. “Guyana and Barbados have been wonderful companions for CPL during the last 12 years, and it’s actually thrilling to announce that they are going to be hosts for the finals in 2025 and 2026, respectively. We wish to thank the governments of each Guyana and Barbados, who’ve agreed to play host to the conclusion of CPL.”
