    Bassarath re-elected CWI vice-president – Caribbean Life

    Cricket West Indies (CWI) has introduced the reelection of Trinadad and Tobago’s Azim Bassarath as vice-president of its board of administrators.

    CWI confirmed Bassarath’s re-appointment after holding a particular assembly of members on Sept. 20 for the only objective of electing a brand new vice-president.

    On the shut of nominations, Bassarath, additionally the Trinidad and Tobago Cricket Board president, was the one candidate, having been nominated by the Jamaica Cricket Affiliation and Leeward Islands Cricket Board.

    Singh dominated that Bassarath’s election was opposite to CWI’s articles of affiliation and the legal guidelines and guidelines governing elections.
