BELLINZOLA, Switzerland, CMC – Jamaican Ackeem Blake, Alexander Ogando of the Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico’s Jasmine Camacho-Quinn all gained their respective occasions on the World Athletics Continental Tour Silver meet right here Monday.
The trio fine-tuned for the upcoming Wanda Diamond League ultimate by capturing gold on the meet held on September 8-9.
Blake sprinted to victory in 9.96 seconds within the males’s 100 meters, comfortably forward of Akani Simbine of South Africa, who positioned second in 10.04, and Cameroon’s Emmanuel Eseme, who grabbed bronze in 10.11 seconds.
Ogando was simply as dominant within the 200 meters, crossing the end line in 20.19 seconds. Aaron Brown of Canada was second in 20.49 seconds, whereas William Reis of Switzerland completed third (20.55).
