    Award-winning Grenadian gospel singer Ijeal Joseph says he lately shared the stage with the legendary a number of GRAMMY award-winner Pastor Donnie McClurkin and others throughout a gospel live performance in Freeport, L.I. to assist hurricane aid in Grenada and Jamaica.

    Joseph, a Brooklyn resident, advised Caribbean Life over the weekend that he carried out on Jul. 21 with McClurkin, Judith Gayle, Edward Neblette, Andrea McClurkin-Malini and K3 at Perfecting Religion Church. The live performance sought to boost a minimum of $20,000. 

    “It was an honor for me to be the one representing my nation at such an important trigger,” Joseph stated. “I’ve all the time appeared as much as Pastor Donnie McClurkin as a musical mentor. As such, it was a dream come true to share the stage with him,” he added. “I’m very grateful, and I thank God that desires do come true, and that God retains all of His guarantees. All glory be to the Most Excessive.” 

    Joseph, who wears many hats, is an anointed Christian music singer, worship chief, actor, songwriter, poet, writer and performer, in addition to an ordained minister of the gospel.

    Early in his Christian life, Joseph stated he performed completely different roles as a forged member with the theatre youth group of the Gouyave Open Bible Church in Grenada.

    In 1999, he stated he earned nationwide consideration when he participated within the Grenada Nationwide Track Pageant. 

    Then, in 2003, Joseph gained the Grenada Nationwide Expertise Search Competitors and, in 2005, he was awarded the Grenada Nationwide Youth Award for his exemplary efficiency within the discipline of tradition.

    After migrating to New York in 2009, Joseph stated he continued to be actively concerned in each ministry and group work. He’s a chaplain and evangelist.

    Among the many volunteer assignments he has adopted is being a member of the Brooklyn-based Grenada Independence Anniversary Celebrations’ Steering Committee. 

    In Could 2011, he was awarded a Certificates of Particular Congressional Recognition for his “invaluable service to the group” by Congresswoman Yvette D. Clarke, the daughter of Jamaican immigrants, who represents the ninth Congressional District in Brooklyn. 

    Acknowledging his accomplishments and his capacity to positively affect audiences, Joseph stated he was requested to be the keynote speaker for the New York Ecumenical Service throughout the 2019 Grenada Independence Anniversary celebrations.

    In March 2019, he was awarded a proclamation by state Sen. Kevin S. Parker of Brooklyn.

    On the time, Parker famous that he was honoring and “recognizing that, in Ijeal Joseph, we have now a person worthy of our highest respect and esteem.”

    Joseph stated his work has impressed and blessed the hearts of many individuals of all ages, crisscrossing denominational and social boundaries.

    Based on Joseph, his mission and objective for service is “For Christ and For Souls.”

    “I’m very pleased with all that I’ve achieved this far in my profession,” he stated. “It’s my dream to have the ability to unfold my message of affection and the gospel with as many individuals throughout the globe as potential.”

    Joseph stated one among his largest inspirations is Jamaican singer Beres Hammond. 

    “We met again in 2008 at an occasion,” he stated. “As I used to be coming of the stage, he grabbed me and hugged me, and advised me, ‘Maintain doing what you do and, in the future, the massive break would come’.

    “These phrases are engraved on my coronary heart and thoughts,” Joseph added. “I’d always remember that second. This recommendation has been my guiding gentle since.”

    He stated he’s had comparable encounters with gospel music legends Alvin Slaughter and Pastor McClurkin.

    “Music is so highly effective [that] I don’t take its stewardship as a right,” Joseph stated. “I all the time admire [the legendary Jamaican reggae superstar] Bob Marley, due to his capacity to succeed in folks of all backgrounds. It doesn’t matter their faith and race. 

    “That is what I intention to do as effectively,” Joseph stated. “My motto is ‘For Christ and For Souls’. So, in essence, I’ve been given a mandate from Above to minister and attend to the wants of God’s folks.”
