    BMCC, UCC sign agreement for ‘knowledge exchange, cultural enhancement’ – Caribbean Life

    The Jamaican-American President of the Borough of Manhattan Neighborhood School (BMCC) Dr. Anthony E. Munroe says {that a} shared curiosity settlement with the College of the Commonwealth Caribbean (UCC) in Jamaica would create “a platform for information change, cultural enrichment, and tutorial development and growth.”

    BMCC stated the signing occurred throughout the 10th Biennial Jamaica Diaspora Convention in Montego Bay, Jamaica, amid ongoing talks between the Consulate Basic of Jamaica in New York and BMCC concerning “leveraging their sources to work collectively domestically and overseas for the betterment and within the curiosity of each communities.” 

    BMCC stated it and UCC “endeavor to ascertain pathways for collaboration in analysis, scholar exchanges, and college growth, finally enhancing the academic expertise for all concerned.

    Prof. Colin Gyles, CD, UCC president, stated his college is “excited to embark on this collaborative journey with the Borough of Manhattan Neighborhood School.

    Jamaica New York Consul Basic Alsion Wilson stated she was “delighted to witness the signing of this Memorandum of Understanding between Borough of Manhattan Neighborhood School and the College of the Commonwealth Caribbean on the tenth Biennial Diaspora Convention.
