BELMOPAN, Belize, CMC – The Belize authorities says the choice to open a Excessive Fee in Guyana is a part of its efforts to develop its diplomatic community by establishing diplomatic relations with international locations and by opening diplomatic representations aimed toward bringing improvement, prosperity, and help to its residents overseas.
The Belize flag was hoisted on the chancellery of the Excessive Fee of Belize in Guyana on Monday. The federal government mentioned that Gale Miller Garnett, the Excessive Commissioner of Belize to the sister Caribbean Neighborhood (CARICOM) nation, oversaw the ceremony.
It mentioned he was accompanied by Captain Marion Hernandez, Second Lieutenant Ashley Lashawn Williams, and Lance Corporal Felecia Cal – Belize Defence Pressure troopers enterprise research in Guyana.
“The Authorities of Belize continues to develop its diplomatic community by establishing diplomatic relations with international locations and opening diplomatic representations to carry improvement, prosperity, and help to its residents overseas.
“The institution of this new diplomatic mission in Guyana is a concrete manifestation of Belize’s dedication to its bilateral relationship with Guyana and its intention to bolster its presence in South America,” the John Briceno authorities added.
