The Caribbean Media Awards made a triumphant return in the course of the vibrant Caribbean Week festivities in New York Metropolis from June 16 to 21, celebrating the distinctive expertise and dedication of journalists and influencers in selling the area’s various magnificence and tradition.

Romardo Lyons from TVJ Jamaica acquired the Greatest Information Reporting award for his impactful story on the struggles confronted by espresso growers within the area.
Kaitlyn McNab from Teen Vogue gained the Greatest Private Immersive Story award for her touching piece on Grenada’s Spice Mas Carnival. Melissa Noel from ESSENCE gained the Diaspora Journalist of the Yr award for her distinctive work in representing Caribbean tradition and points.

The Jamaican Tourism Board took residence the Greatest Social Media Marketing campaign award for its revolutionary Valentine’s Day in Jamaica marketing campaign, praised for its creativity and effectiveness.
The occasion was sponsored by the Cayman Islands Division of Tourism, the Caribbean Media Awards 2024 was not nearly trophies and accolades. It was a celebration of the colourful Caribbean spirit, full of laughter, camaraderie, and the shared ardour for storytelling. The occasion underscored the important function media performs in showcasing the area’s distinctive attraction and attract, finally contributing to its thriving tourism trade.
