    Pastor Roger Jackson proclaims ‘Father Knows Best’ – Caribbean Life

    Daen Blemur, Nicholas and Noelani Charles, Kaiden Goodman, and Angelica Nedd advised fathers within the congregation and people watching on-line that they had been listening to their advices and teachings.

    The youngsters culminated their presentation by saying “thanks”, with a track, “Completely happy Father’s Day to You.”

    The church’s United Girls of Religion honored the oldest and youngest fathers within the congregation with bouquets of flowers: Lester Jack, 95, a former lay speaker, who hails from St. Vincent and the Grenadines; and Sheldon Carty, 36, the son of Trinidadian immigrants.

    “It was good; excellent,” Jack advised Caribbean Life afterwards, referring to the Father’s Day Particular Service.

    “I’m the oldest member,” added Jack, laughing, who sometimes sings the church’s Chancel Choir.

    Carty, whose son, Sheldon Carty, Jr., was baptized through the service, additionally advised Caribbean Life: “I really feel nice. Good to know I’m being acknowledged by my church household.

    “It’s the one church that I’ve been part of,” he added. “I’ve been a member since I can bear in mind. It’s my first Father’s Day (since changing into a father).”
