Jamaica’s Minister of Labour and Social Safety, Hon. Pearnel Charles Jr., has reiterated the federal government’s steadfast dedication to cultivating a dynamic and inclusive workforce.
Talking at the US Company for Worldwide Improvement (USAID) Optimistic Pathways Personal Sector Discussion board, held at The Jamaica Pegasus Resort in New Kingston on April 23, he emphasised the significance of collaborative efforts in offering at-risk youth with employment alternatives, hope, dignity, and a way of belonging.
Unlocking potential by means of partnership
Addressing attendees, Minister Charles Jr. emphasised the necessity to acknowledge at-risk youth as untapped reservoirs of expertise awaiting discovery.
