West Indies ‘A’ will embark on a historic journey to Nepal for a five-match Twenty20 (T20) collection, with seasoned Take a look at all-rounder Roston Chase appointed as captain for the tour, scheduled to begin on Saturday.
Chase, identified for his expertise in each Take a look at and limited-overs cricket, will lead a 15-man squad that includes established senior gamers and promising rising skills. The tour serves as a part of the group’s preparation for the upcoming ICC Twenty20 World Cup in June.
Chief selector Desmond Haynes expressed confidence in Chase’s management qualities, stating, “Chase has exhibited spectacular work ethic and confirmed management qualities through the years. Since his T20I debut in October 2021, he has continued to make appreciable strides.”
