    Jamaica brings ‘One Love’ to NYC VIPs – Caribbean Life

    In celebrating the opening of Paramount’s “Bob Marley: One Love” biopic in theatres from Feb. 14, the Jamaica Vacationer Board (JTB) held an unique reception and personal screening of the movie for VIPs at Regal Union Sq. cinema in Manhattan.

    “’Bob Marley: One Love’ was in theatres simply in time for love month and reggae month,” mentioned Donovan White, JTB director of tourism. “On the large display screen for the primary time, the movie is a celebration of the life and legacy of a real Jamaican musical icon Bob Marley.

    “We’re so happy that we had been capable of showcase it to key companions, as it’s yet one more demonstration of the outsized affect that Jamaica’s tradition has typically had on the world by our artists, athletes, music, delicacies and a lot extra,” he added.

    Previous to the movie’s begin, Philip Rose, White and Sandals consultant Karlene Angus-Smith personally welcomed all friends to the non-public screening.
