Officers of the Trinidad and Tobago Coast Guard intercepted a vessel carrying 27 people, together with three kids, all believed to be Venezuelan migrants.
The incident occurred south of the nation’s coast on Wednesday morning.
Particulars of the incident
Studies are that at roughly 9:43 a.m., Coast Guard personnel noticed the boat breaching the maritime border and commenced a chase.
Amongst them are three kids, 16 males and eight ladies, all believed to be Venezuelan migrants.
Studies are that the boat was taken to Staubles Bay, Chaguaramas, and the Immigration Division and the police have been contacted.
