The Cayman Island Chess Federation invited the females for the CICF Feminine Nationwide Classical Chess Championship 2024. Notably, the championship is to be held as a five-round Swiss match on 10-11 February 2024.
The Federation said that the event of females within the recreation of chess and inspiring them to take part is their essential precedence, even when the gamers have restricted expertise of taking part in the match.

Eligibility of the gamers:
The gamers are eligible to participate within the championship provided that:
• They’re the resident of the Cayman Island.
• They’re registered with FIDE as a Cayman Island Participant
• They’ve some prior expertise of taking part in aggressive chess.
Guidelines of the sport:
There are particular guidelines that need to be adopted within the championship, The next are:
1. No attracts could also be agreed between the gamers except not less than 30 strikes have been performed by every participant.
2. No participant can withdraw from the match after the match has began. They’ll withdraw solely in case of emergency.
3. The default time is half-hour, it means if the participant arrives half-hour late for any spherical, then they’ll lose the sport by default.
4. The participant cannot possess any cell phone or another digital machine within the taking part in corridor whereas any spherical is in progress.
5. The spectators aren’t allowed within the taking part in corridor whereas any spherical is in progress.
The format of the sport:
The championship will consist of 5 rounds of classical chess. The time restrict that has been framed for every recreation is 60 minutes and 30 seconds increment per transfer from transfer one onwards.
The schedule for every spherical is as follows:
• Spherical 1- Saturday 10 February, 2024 at 9 am.
• Spherical 2- Saturday 10 February, 2024 at 1 pm.
• Spherical 3- Saturday 10 February, 2024 at 4 pm.
• Spherical 4- Sunday 11 February, 2024 at 10 am.
• Spherical 5-Sunday 21 February, 2024 at 2 pm.
