Worldwide human rights advocacy group, Freedom Imaginaries, has strongly criticized the Jamaican authorities’s strategy to dealing with the growing inflow of Haitian migrants in search of refuge inside its borders.
Founder’s stance on asylum rights
Founding father of Freedom Imaginaries, Malene Alleyne, expressed grave concern over the federal government’s insurance policies, contending that they neglect the elemental rights of asylum seekers by circumventing due course of and failing to uphold correct asylum procedures.
Alleyne asserts that the federal government has to this point remained unresponsive to all purposes submitted for asylum standing.
A scientific lack of response
Ms. Alleyne raised an alarm relating to the federal government’s persistent silence on asylum purposes.
