    Queens Cancer Walk group honors victims during candlelight vigil at Radha Krishna Mandir in Queens – Caribbean Life

    Survivors, thrivers, and supporters, Oct. 28 joined Allison Alexis throughout a night of fellowship, and to honor these misplaced to most cancers, throughout the Queens Most cancers Stroll’s 6th Annual Candlelight vigil, held on the Radha Krishna Mandir Inc., in Jamaica, Queens.

    Towards a pink backdrop with inspiring phrases akin to, “Power, Hope, Survivors, Combat, Collectively, Energy,” Alexis, founding father of the Queens Most cancers Stroll, a Trinidadian-born advocate for her neighborhood who, continues to battle the sickness, hosted the Breast Most cancers Consciousness occasion, and delivered an inspirational speak to sooth, and empower her fellow warriors, some who’ve crushed breast most cancers, and others who proceed to obtain therapy, of their combat to remain wholesome.

    A woman of power, and willpower, a torchbearer, Alexis, the Angels of Hope Most cancers Consciousness Group, founder spoke of her journey as a most cancers survivor, noting that everybody offers with the sickness otherwise, giving themselves time to heal, earlier than talking of their sickness.
