KINGSTON, Jamaica, CMC – The primary opposition Folks’s Nationwide Celebration’s (PNP) spokesperson on Overseas Affairs, Lisa Hanna, has referred to as for the resignation of Overseas Affairs Minister Kamina Johnson Smith following Jamaica’s no-show on the current United Nations vote on a “humanitarian truce” within the Gaza Strip within the wake of Israel’s warfare with Hamas.

“This decision was simply asking for one thing simple – defend human rights and legality; give the humanitarian ceasefire to assist the folks throughout this tough time. And we didn’t vote for it. We had been lacking,” she mentioned.
“I don’t know how one can have that in your fingers. Fairly frankly, I believe the minister must do the honorable factor, maybe.
