    New Dominica envoy present credentials to OAS – Caribbean Life

    The Group of American States (OAS) says that the brand new Everlasting Consultant of Dominica, Steve Ferrol, on Friday offered his credentials to OAS Secretary Normal Luis Almagro.

    “Dominica has partnered with the Normal Secretariat of the OAS within the 4 pillars of the group,” stated OAS Secretary Normal Luis Almagro throughout a ceremony at OAS headquarters in Washington, D.C.

    “As well as, we’re significantly happy with the work we now have been in a position to accomplish within the discipline of growth, particularly in tourism and commerce growth, environmental points and local weather change, and the promotion of democracy,” he added. 

    Ambassador Ferrol highlighted his nation’s “lengthy and productive relationship with the OAS,” and added that “we stay dedicated to the values, actions, packages geared in direction of advancing democracy, human rights, safety and growth.” 

    Ambassador Ferrol, who can be Dominica’s Ambassador to the US, beforehand served as his nation’s Cupboard Secretary, amongst different posts, the OAS stated.
